Riverland Dog Training & Kennel Club is a fantastic place to take your dog when you wish to learn how to train your dog using reward based methods - its run by volunteers, who love dogs and want you to have fun while learning. However, if you are looking for a place to board your dog - we are unable to help you as we are solely a not for profit dog "training" group. Riverland Boarding Kennels is the place to go and their phone number is 85887176. We - The Riverland Dog Training Club - have asked the yellow pages on-line to please remove us from under boarding kennels, but alas they won't do it as none of us can remember the password - thanks Yellow Pages.

How to prepare for dog boarding

Going out of town can be a difficult time for your dog. Make sure you and your dog are both ready for dog boarding before you send your dog to the dog kennel.

Be sure your dog is up to date on vaccinations and treatments before taking him or her to the kennel. Companies often ask for vaccination proof and might not take in your dog if he has fleas or other problems.
Double check that you have your pet’s medication and any special food if required. Also give your dog boarding kennel your vet’s number and contact information.
