Local Disadvantaged Groups Aid Organisations in Ringwood VIC

Guide Dogs Victoria receive no government funding but are still able provide 70% of dog guides in the state. We went here for an open day previously as part of the fundraising and it is amazing what these dogs do, and what the people do to train them. I often feel sorry for them for not having enough play time like any other dogs, but they are committed to their duty as a working dogs and they have an important role to play. As individuals, the least we could do is support this initiative. We never know if one day we or someone close to us will need to turn to them for help, and even if we dont, its always a good gesture to help others whenever we can. Support Guide Dogs Victoria.
