Many restaurants and businesses find themselves tossing up between installing a cool room or simply buying a commercial or industrial freezer. These crucial appliances keep your food and drink cool. Today we will explore the difference between cold rooms and freezer units.

Coolrooms float at temperatures between +2ºC and +4ºC. Cold rooms and coolrooms offer enhanced storage space and are much easier to clean than refrigeration units. Coolroom construction typically focuses on heavy wall insulation in the form of coolroom or cold room panels.
Commercial freezers can plummet temperatures below -18ºC. At these frosty temperatures, water ceases being a liquid and soft tissues of certain fruits and meats may rupture. Stored raw meat can be frozen for several months at a time in a freezer. Freezers require much more insulation to ensure sub-zero temperatures are maintained.
