THE BEDS ARE THE HIGHLIGHT When you go to a hotel, you go to get a night's sleep. Otherwise you may as well go to a restaurant or a park or football match. There is no doubt, when you book a hotel, you are booking a night's rest. So... having said that, why are so many hotel rooms equipped with crap beds? While you ponder that, I will tell you that the Mercure Hotel Mildura has the best beds in the Outback. The linen is beautiful Egyptian cotton and if a good night's sleep is what you are after, this is the place. So unless you are booking your hotel in Mildura to NOT get a good night's sleep, why would you go anywhere else?
