Desert sands was founded in 1989 by Rex Ryles as a family run company to service the mining industry in the Laverton area. Over the years Desert Sands has played many roles in servicing its clients, including blue chip mining companies, local government and WA & NT fuel distributors.

Brooks Hire commenced in 1979 when Doug Brooks purchased two u/s compressors on bankcard. In 1982 Doug purchased the first piece of mobile plant an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba. At the time of buying the crane, Doug was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of a shed.

Red Dust Holdings is a civil construction, plant hire company established in 2010 by Josh Johnson and Tanya Colclough. Collectively they have over 20 years mining and civil experience and the team as a whole has well over the thousands!

In 2004, the partnership business of RJ & DM Wakefield incorporated as Wakefield Enterprises Pty Ltd, trading as Ground Masters. Building on the platform of an excellent reputation in the field of mine-site and suburban earthworks and on their base of valued business relationships, Ground Masters offered an expanded service to old and new clientele.
