The clinic was originally built to be the training centre for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, and later became the RSPCA Animal Hospital and Clinic. The hospital was sold in the early 1980's and thus Belmont Avenue Veterinary Hospital began. Today, the complex incorporates the Belmont Avenue Veterinary Hospital, Belmont Boarding Cattery and Belmont Clipping and Grooming Salon.

I first used Julies Kennels about 18 months ago. I had boarded at a different kennel once before but was disappointed that my 2 gorgeous dogs were returned to me smelly and dirty and quite depressed, so I was very concerned about leaving them again. But when I picked them up they were VERY excited to see me. They also seemed quite attached to the girl jumping and licking her. They were very clean and they had not lost any weight which was a relief. It was great to see them so happy this time. I have been back several times since, and each time the same result 2 very happy dogs. They are actually happy to go INTO the kennels. All in all a much relief I as I have to travel for work, and I am able go away know my dogs are being well cared for. Thank you to all the Staff at Julies Kennels Im glad I came to you. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend you!!
