Happy Cats Cattery

Miss Moxie had a wonderful 10 days with Kay and her caring team. She had direct view of the fish pond and probably dreamed of koi at night. Kay's cat hotel is well organised, very clean and spacious. and cats don't seem to be too fussed about their co-inhabitants. Kay was easy to correspond with, managed Moxie's ferocious appetite really well, and had her all calm before the drive back home. I would definitely leave my little fur baby with them again.

Handy tips

How to prepare for cat boarding at the cat motel

Going out of town can be a difficult time for your cat. Make sure you and your cat are both ready for cat boarding before you send your cat to the cattery.

  • Be sure your cat is up to date on vaccinations and treatments before taking him or her to the kennel. Catteries often ask for vaccination proof and might not take in your cat if he has fleas or other problems.
  • Double check that you have your pet’s medication and any special food if required. Also, give your cattery kennel your vet’s number and contact information.
  • Consider whether your cat is well socialised both with people and other cats.
  • Finally don’t forget to have an awesome trip, knowing that your cat is in safe and capable hands.

Keep this guide in mind as you continue browsing through our directory for local boarding catteries near you. This way, you and your darling feline friend can both have a holiday.
