Had a nightmare start to the day yesterday. Blew a tyre on a trailer full of green waste on the highway just outside of Katoomba hospital. Luckily my workmate who owns the trailer was just around the corner. We took the completely destroyed tyre to Katoomba Tyre Service and organised to have it done by 1pm. After a couple of minutes thinking how we would plan the rest of our work day, it became apparent that if we could get it done straight away it would save A LOT of hassle. I went back in and explained that it was sitting on the highway and offered some extra cash to get it done right away. The response was a resounding "why didn't you tell me?!" and a refusal to take any extra money. The new tyre was on the wheel and in our hands within a few minutes and we could get on with the very disrupted day with a minimal of hassle. Can't recommend highly enough. The friendly, humorous and speedy service was absolutely outstanding. Will definitely be back to replace the other tyre before it too does the same thing!
