What’s the deal with disabled and pram parking?

You might have seen the distinctive pram and wheelchair symbols at your international airport or city car parks. Every state in Australia may have some version of disability and pram parking. For example, in Victoria, a statewide disability parking permit scheme ensures people with reduced mobility are able to park closer to the entrance.

So while car park management could ask someone without a pram, or infant, to vacate a parent parking spot, it’s not enforceable by law.
