Paragon Cafe

We were passing through Goulburn and the owners of the Willow Motel said that often recommended the Paragon to guests. Many thanks to them for the tip. I had the best seafood pizza that I have had for at least 5 years - perfectly cooked base and loads of prawns, mussels, calamari and salmon on top. I think it was $18 for a medium (it could have fed two people - sorry). The Paragon is a vibrant living museum example of the many great cafes that used to grace the main streets of wealthy Australian country towns. How great that the fourth (or fifth?) Greek family are now the owners and still keeping that tradition of excellent country hospitality and good cooking going strong. Take time to look at all the historical photos and read the history of the cafe. My kids had lasagne and parma - they were impressed and my wife swooned over her cajun chicken.
