Kookaburra Kiosk

Love visiting the Kookaburra Kiosk and it's free revolving art exhibitions! And the coffee is great too (open from breakfast to afternoon tea time). It's just on the outskirts of town, next to the Tiger Bay wetlands. It is peaceful and a fantastic place to meet up with friends for lunch etc. I like the outside verandah to sit and look over at the natural beauty of the wetlands, on a sunny winter's day. If you visit on a Thursday morning, catch up with the Knitting and Spinning club and watch them in action - they are a very friendly bunch! This is an interesting place for caravanners to drop in on - there is parking available for caravans. There are colourful aboriginal painted poles to look at in the grounds, and information panels that describe aspects of Warren and it's natural surroundings and history.
