General Materials
A popular way to dispose of building materials is to hire a skip or hard rubbish waste bin. These come in various sizes and will take most waste from a building site. They do have restrictions though so make sure you read through any information you are given. Waste can also be disposed of at your local tip but there will a charge attached in many cases. Items such as concrete and soil can be disposed of at a clean fill site, but you will have to find one locally that is taking in clean fill. This option usually comes at no charge but is all a matter of timing.
Regardless of which method you choose for disposal, make sure you choose a legal one. Simply dumping your waste in the closest reserve isn’t an option and is also illegal with high penalties attached. Be responsible and dispose of the waste properly.
