Summer hair rescue

Dry, damaged brittle hair is an all-too common by-product of summer holidays.  Here are our top tips to leave your hair soft and nourished this silly season.

Dry shampoo

Does the heat make your hair feel as lank and greasy as your sweaty brow? Avoid the trap of daily shampooing – the number one culprit of dried-out hair – and use dry shampoo instead.  You’ll freshen up your locks and get rid of the greasy feeling.

Leave-in products

Got coloured hair? Your hair will be especially prone to damage and dryness. Add some moisture and shine to your hair with a leave-in masque. Ask your hairdresser for a product to suit your tresses and lather it on a couple of times a week. Alternatively, get an intense conditioning treatment at your favorite salon.

No-frizz shampoo

No one looks good with frizzy hair, but when the weather turns humid it’s hard to avoid. Look for a no-frizz shampoo that can tame the wild. Ask your hairdresser for their suggestions.

Sun protection

Just as your skin needs protection from UV rays, so does your hair. Find a sun protection spray to protect your hair from sun damage. As a bonus, it’ll also protect your colour from fading, and it‘ll moisturize it too.  Another top tip? Invest in a great hat.

Regular trim

A quick trim at the hairdressing salon is the best way to tidy up all the dry ends, leaving your hair with healthy bounce.
